In 1993, Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Inc. faced stagnation despite operating sixty-one restaurants with annual revenues of $125 million. The company struggled with outdated operational practices, fragmented organizational structures, and ineffective leadership, leading to inefficiencies and inconsistent customer experiences.
